The Beginning

Week 1 of the Bullet Journal!  I plan to Bullet Journal my journey.

I spent the day yesterday planning as I gear up for is going to be a huge undertaking!  A half a year of the Whole30 eating plan.  Meat, veggies, fruits, nuts & seeds, and healthy fats… for 182 days!

This is slightly terrifying me.

I feel like it’s one of those things that’s good in theory – oh, I’ll just eat clean for half the year, and then hopefully it’ll cure my IBS, insomnia, relationship with food, etc. etc.  No big deal, just 182 days.

182 days!!!

One of the things I regret the most from my summer round of the Whole30 was that I felt that I had to follow the reintroduction protocol after 30 days…. I did my 30 days perfectly, and then on Day 1 post-Whole30… okay, reintroduce dairy.  As soon as I had cheese again, it sent me on a downward spiral of ice cream & sugar dragon, and I haven’t been able to get out of it since.  I would have just been so much better off if I had kept going.

So that’s what I’m going to do, starting Monday!  AHHH!!
