Day 15 – Stability

Wow!  So it’s been a couple of days since I updated, but mostly because there’s not much to say.  I’m keeping on!  My moods had stabilized since my last blog posts, which was great, because craving ALL THE THINGS was not fun.  I feel like I’m figuring out how to fit compliancy into my life, rather than the other way around – for instance, the orange chicken I made the other night instead of getting Chinese food, and I have tentative plans to celebrate my birthday in February by making a few different versions of compliant chicken wings (normally we go to a local restaurant that gives you free chicken wings on your birthday!).  So I’m feeling pretty good about things.

I’ve also gotten into a groove with meal prep and food.  I LOVE having breakfast all ready for me, so all I have to do is grab it and run out the door.  A typical breakfast for me is two Aidells Chicken & Apple sausages with some blackberries & raspberries, and pan-fried veggies (potatoes, rainbow salad, broccoli slaw, or all of the above) with ketchup (I love these little containers to bring my ketchup!  I also use them to keep ghee in my car for dining out).  Lunch is normally leftovers, though thinking about it, I’m not sure what I’m having today!  Hmm.

One the menu for this week is a pork chop roast (French-stye with the bone in), baked potato soup, hot dogs with sauerkraut, and shepherd’s pie (I even splurged and bought lamb for proper shepherd’s pie!).  I might sneak in a couple steaks I have defrosted.  I spent my day off yesterday shopping at Trader Joe’s, Wegmans, and Wal Mart, so I certainly have no shortage on food!
