A couple of things of note, as I am three days before the end of my Whole30 –
I “cheated” yesterday.
I had commercially-prepared chips, which are technically against the rules of Whole30. ALL of the ingredients were compliant, commercially-prepared chips are just off-limits for the program. But yesterday, I was like, I need something crunchy other than celery. I don’t like carrots, and I shouldn’t have a lot of nuts. I was wondering if there were chips made with “alternative” vegetables, and aha, there are. And you know what? They’re delicious, totally worth it, and I didn’t eat the whole bag in one sitting. Or even three. So, maybe a win? Idk.
Also, my pants have been SUPER loose on me lately. It seems like every time I get up in the morning and put my jeans on, they’re a little looser. Which is awesome! But it also means that I’m at work and I feel like my pants could come down at any time. I’m guessing another month and I’ll be able to ditch these entirely! Yes.
I was thinking about what to have for dinner tonight (or even lunch, for that matter, as I’m still at work), and I’ve been fascinated recently by mustard-based BBQ sauce. So I’m going to give that a whirl tonight with some ribs and see how that goes! 😀 (And yay, a new recipe to try!)
