We all know that Day 28 is not as good as Day 30, so I’ll just leave that alone.
I’m really debating on what I want to do after my 30 days. Whole30 buddy Randi would tell me to keep going… which has been the plan, definitely (hi, have you seen my domain?). That being said, it would be nice to have ONE day or meal of eating “normally.” I miss the comfortable and the familiar. I’m aware also that this is my body trying to get back to old habits, so I really do know that I need to just keep swimming. I’m just having “a moment.”
I feel like I’ve been in a food rut. I’ll maybe have to revisit some favorites from my first couple of weeks. And probably make ribs again, b/c they were amazing!
I am getting super tired of doing dishes, though, and have been relying a lot on pre-made protein (Aidell’s sausages, Wegmans sausages, Sam’s vidalia onion sausages, you get the idea). I did make some pineapple teriyaki balls that were ok, but not fantastic, so I’ve been munching on them to use them up. Ground chicken & pork together are a weird combination…
